Axcil Jefferies continues to carry his good form in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship on the Paul Ricard Circuit in France with 2 Podiums.

After clinching the Middle East Championship and Wins in Monza Italy, Podium in Silverstone UK, Axcil and team mate Rik Bruekers claimed two 3rd positions in a hot and sticky weekend in South France with temps over 36° Celsius.

Consistency has been the key to the team of youngsters as they challenge the more experienced drivers in the European Championship and they left France 2nd in the Championship and looking forward to a stronger performance in Spa Francorchamps in Belgium end July.

"We struggled abit for outright pace to win this weekend, strange because our car felt Good, not making excuses but perhaps with our competition having raced here last weekend they had a bit of an edge on us."

"Anyway we bagged more solid points and look forward to a stronger showing in spa, hopefully we get some rain "

A big thanks to our team GDL who have been working flat out to give us a good car as always"

"I am also very proud and honoured to have been selected by Lamborghini to be part of the Young Driver Program. Had my first visit to the Factory and a taste of driving the new car for 2018, WOW is all I can say!!"

Axcil will continue with his training regime to arrive in Spa mentally and physically stronger as the season hots up into the second half of the season.
